Gasunie and PMF Industry Group strengthen cooperation with new framework agreement
Gasunie and PMF Piping & Mechanical B.V., part of PMF Industry Group within House of Contracting, have signed a new framework agreement for the production of prefabricated piping components, including nipple flanges and counter flanges.
This agreement marks an important step in further strengthening the cooperation between both parties and underlines the shared commitment to a reliable, safe, and future-proof energy infrastructure in the Netherlands.
Essential components for a reliable gas transmission network
The manufactured components will be used within Gasunie’s national gas transmission network, both for replacement at existing sites and for new projects. Although these components are often invisible in day-to-day operations, they play a crucial role in the safety and reliability of the pipeline system.
Delivering this level of quality requires carefully selected materials, experienced professionals, and strictly controlled production processes. Within PMF Industry Group, this is carried out daily with a strong focus on precision, consistency, and safety.
Collaboration based on quality and continuity
The new framework agreement builds on a long-standing relationship between Gasunie and PMF Industry Group. In addition to delivering high-quality products, the focus is on reliable logistics, robust quality assurance, and increasingly sustainable production methods.
The agreement was established through a European tender procedure and in close collaboration between engineering and procurement specialists from both organizations.
Sustainability as an integral part of production
Sustainability plays an increasingly important role within PMF Industry Group’s production processes. A significant portion of welding and fabrication activities is now powered by solar energy generated at its own sites.
In addition, active efforts are being made to reduce transport emissions and to increase insight into the CO₂ footprint of operations. In this way, the focus is not only on quality and reliability, but also on a responsible and future-oriented way of producing.
Strengthening critical infrastructure
Through this collaboration, Gasunie and PMF Industry Group jointly strengthen the reliability of critical energy infrastructure. This contributes to a well-maintained and future-proof energy network, which is essential for the continuity of energy supply in the Netherlands and beyond.
Moving forward together
We would like to thank all involved teams for their commitment and collaboration in establishing this agreement. Within House of Contracting, we look forward to further expanding this successful partnership and jointly delivering high-quality and sustainable solutions for the energy infrastructure of the future.
